Privacy Policy
Lost in the Tabs builds lightweight Chrome extensions for online sellers and creators: marketplace sales dashboards, listing assistants, SEO tools, and keyword/market research. This policy applies to all Lost in the Tabs browser extensions.
Data we collect
None. Our extensions do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. We run no servers and receive no information about you or your usage.
Data stored on your device
Each extension stores its data locally in your browser (via chrome.storage), only on your own device. Depending on the extension, this may include:
- The lists, settings and figures you enter
- Data the extension reads from the pages, listings or marketplaces you use it on
- For paid extensions, your Pro license activation status
This data never leaves your browser except as described below.
Network requests
- Marketplace & website pages. Our extensions read the pages, listings, marketplaces or search results you are working with, in your browser, using your existing logged-in session, to build their dashboards and tools. This data is not sent to us.
- api.gumroad.com. When an extension offers a paid "Pro" upgrade and you activate a license, your license key is sent to Gumroad (our payment provider) solely to verify it. See Gumroad's privacy policy.
Cookies & tracking
Our extensions use no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
